If you own a home and want to learn the proper techniques for troubleshooting electrical problems I would suggest you buy a comprehensive book from Lowe's or Home Depot. It will more than pay for itself. I read many responses that sound convincing but are totally wrong for the question that was asked. I'm not saying this is the case with the 16 year old, but if you really want to be sure, do the research yourself.
If her advice was to get professional help then follow her advice.Other than that, I do not ask electrical questions on this site. For that matter, I usually advise everyone to get qualified professional electricians for all of the work, except resetting something.
first off, i agree with JakFlak...... my personal quote that i use religiously is...... ';Advice is worth what you pay for it';....
not to be glib, as we are all here looking for help with something that we are doing to our homes...... as for me? i answer questions while i am looking for suggestions and answers pertaining to my 1927 home...... MAN did they do things different back then....... and i have gotten good advice, advice from people obviously trying to make ';points'; and then..... REALLY BAD ADVICE that sounded right at first.....

Just because everyone else in your friend circle has had a boyfriend doesn't mean you have to have one too. But, if i was going to give you advice i would say, STAY POSITIVE! there are people that like you, they just aren't expressing it or just afraid of what you will say. You don't need to feel awkward about this at all, everyone feels it at one time or another, believe me! Never say never! Just be you, and people will fall for you. there is always someone for everyone.

Our paperwork to adopt a baby girl has been in China since Oct. 2005 with still no referral. We are investigating other was to add a daughter to our family. We are interested in adopting a girl, under 2 years old, any race, mild issues considered. We have 2 boys ages 6 (adopted, hispanic) and 4 (biological) We are open to a variety of adoption situations but prefer to adopt a child who is already legally relinquished for adoption. Upon further conversation with her she told me it's some problem she has no matter how hard she scrubs down there it just doesn't smell 'better' plus our gym is second period so that defiantly does not help when she sweats. Smoking is your enemy because it deadensthe smeller. and you don't notice it when it is you and your lifestyle. I burn wood for heat and everybody knows it whereever I go and I am a clean person. My lover girl told me once she could TasTe it in my fluids even. I also like a Vadailea onion steamed in tin foil with my steak

Busch beer is different than her MLD so she knows when I have drank one at the Bar too.,I may have brushed teeth and gargled with Listren. but the old bodily disgharge get s caught everytime.[not that shes in anyway disturbed by it] ...I just know better than to lie to her about anyplace I have been or what i consumed.

I know she's convinced herself of far more danger than really exsists, and I also know she could do fine. She already rides a scooter, and she can skate too. She resists all my attempts to move on to a bicycle, which our family would like to do together (if all the family participates) Should I just let it go? I don't want to force her, or do I? There was nothing to it since I already had the balance part down because of the scooter.
I say buy her a bike and have it available. Then leave her silly little butt. She will get tired of being left behind and decide to do it on her own. It always goes much better if the kid decided to do it instead of being pushed (not that you are). ask her out somewhere to eat or walk with her on the beech or ask her to come to ur house to chill. call her on the fone. theirs so many ways you can show a girl you like him. tell her her hairs pretty or she looks nice today.Any advice to a shy guy who is gonna talk to a girl?
First of all, be confident! ^_^
Talk about yourself, but also ask her about herself too, because that will let her know you care about what she thinks/likes.
Figure out what she likes, and talk about it. Be careful not to pretend you like all the same things.
If she's on a social networking site (Facebook, Myspace.. etc) strike up a conversation with her.
Get to know her friends, that's usually a clue to what she likes.
Just try to act confidence, if you're all meek and timid it's showing us that you dont really like yourself, so why should we? I know it might seem crazy, but that's how our minds work.
I'm not saying you need to be over confident and loud, just feel comfortable in your own skin and show her that you're willing to stand your ground to get her as a girlfriend.

So, I have this lovely, nice looking girl in my class and she look my way sometimes and while the professor talks I can't say something to her and I have other classes that I have to attend to. But I want to look her way and do something enticing you know. What should I do to get her to think wow, without talking to her? By the way I have a nice chest and good biceps, any suggestions? As well, say hi ALL the time, walk by her as often as you can and smile
ask her for her number, say it is incase you every need anything for hw
if you can, sit beside her and pass her a note
dont look at her TOO much.. it'll be creepy, lol
