Is she studying English? Are you studying Polish? Are you both studying a third language? If not, there's no future there.





I had a girlfriend who spoke very little English; but, I was studying Spanish, and I became fluent in no time. I dated another girl from Japan, and she was learning English. With me teaching her, she became fluent in no time. The girl I'm seeing now once had a Japanese boyfriend, and they barely got by with an English-Japanese dictionary. That relationship went nowhere, because, basically, all they could do was stare at each other or make out.





Obviously, if she's working on learning English, speak slowly and clearly, be patient, and try to use simpler words and sentence structure. Stick to the same words for things, at least until she improves.
you can't.. you're going to have to use other means than that.





you just need to control the entire conversation, and keep it basic and make her laugh..





the annoying thing is that she doesn't have american culture or language down, so the simplest of phrases have no meaning to her.. you're going to make a simple joke or observation, or say something witty, and she'll look at you blankly..

Also, choose topics easy for her to understand, which she is interested in and therefore will try hard to understand, and which you can easily talk about.
Say it with flowers. Not a word, just flowers. Face to face. Doesn't have to be expensive. That'll get things going. Works every time. Good Luck.
