With scriptural references, what will you advice a 16 years old girl who got pregnant from rape, to abort?

should she abort the pregnancy from rape or not? With scriptural references, what will you advice a 16 years old girl who got pregnant from rape, to abort?
What manner of person the child can become is determined by his life after he is born.

Proverbs 22:6

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

Not to abort. The mother should keep in mind that the child should not be hated because he is a result of a crime. He should be loved by taking care of him teaching him the good ways of life and to avoid the wrong.

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3

God has allowed for her to get pregnant. I believe God also wants the child born and be raised for a better purpose. With scriptural references, what will you advice a 16 years old girl who got pregnant from rape, to abort?
My advice would be to be her support system in whatever she chooses to do. Abortion might not be the right thing to do for her but then again it might but in my opinion that choice needs to ultimately come from within her and nothing in the bible should persuade her to do or not do something that SHE cannot live with. There is also the option of adoption. She could give birth, not feel the guilt that some women have over killing a child and give the child to a family who would happily accept it. No one ever has to know....but you know speaking as someone who is unable to get her adoption records opened because I am a product of rape/incest I can tell you it isn't the child's fault and even though I know that much I admire my mom for having me. So if it were me, I'd leave the bible out of it...leave what you think out of it and try to get to the root of what she WANTS because ultimately she will have to live with her choice for life and I am not saying I don't support her aborting it....I am saying though that doesn't set well with everyone after it is done and there are alternatives.....
um..i know peoples opinions vary, but in my personal opinion i would not keep the baby, firstly, having a baby of a rapist and looking at the child, and seeing the features of the rapist and secondly iwhen older it may effect the relationship between me and the child, and also may effected a person mentally. i do understand people feel that abortion wrong, if it is your fault, like not using a condom, but i feel that if you was to get raped, or that contraception did not work, then abortion is the end result. dont forget this is my personal opinion, i am not saying its right to abort overall, but in my eyes with certain conditions it can be considered.

thanks for reading x
i don't think there scriptural references that would support the idea of abortion for a 16yr old even if she was raped.

speaking personally, a person who was raped has every right in the world to have an abortion as the act of sex was against their will.

of course if they wish they to carry the child then that's amazing. but theres no shame if rape victim gets an abortion.
16 is very young.. It would be a personal choice, personally i could not keep the baby because of the events of which it was concieved but if you are strong willed and can have the baby and once born decide whether to keep it or give it up for adoption. i know of a man of was adopted and after he grew up he went looking for his parents and found out he was a product of rape it affected him but he is a lovely man nothing like his father and had parents who looked after him and loved him like their own , the girls mental health is most importan in this situation though no one would judge her negatively for her decision. Rape is a sad thing it breaks my heart and all i can hope is that these victims stay strong and no there are so many people out there who will support them.
it's her decision.

no one can tell her what to do or what not to do.

i didn't abort.

it wasn't my fault, but it wasn't the baby's either.

i believed that the innocent baby shouldn't be punished for it's ignorant and monstrous father's actions.
Yes, if that's the choice she makes. I am LDS and abortion is only accepted in the case of rape, incest, or if the mother's health is in jeopardy.
If that's what she wants to do. She didn't choose to be put in that situation. However, she has to look inside herself, but God is loving and forgiving no matter what decision she makes.
