American Girl is basically at Chicago %26amp; Michigan, so no matter which Metra Station you end up at downtown (Millennium Park, LaSalle, Union) you have a 20-30 minute walk. There is a restaurant inside American Girl, but I believe that they do two seatings a day, but that may be a brunch thing on Sunday, they may have lunch every day...but they do have a restaurant.
Or the Cheesecake Factory is just two blocks north on Michigan in the Handcock's basement or a block and a half south on Rush, a Giordano's (720 N Rush).American Girl Store advice in Chicago?
There are some pizza places that are pretty good, you have to do a lot of walking though, all through downtown Chicago!
Gino's East is right down on Superior, I believe. There are many other shopping areas nearby, Watertower Place, The Shops at North Bridge. The Train stations are a hike, check the bus schedules at the train stations to see the routes that go down Michigan ave.
