Does any one have any advice for a girl starting High School next year?

Im just kinda freaked out. haha. Does any one have any advice? Theres this guy that i have liked for a while and we will be in the same school next year.Does any one have any advice for a girl starting High School next year?
I started this year. It's not as bad as they say. Your classes will probably feel a little awkward at first, but eventually you'll be used to them. Lunch isn't so bad. Just find a friend, and you can just look around for a seat, or sit with someone who already has a seat. Within a month or two, the older people will probably be used to having the freshmen around.

Just be friendly with people in your classes. It's good to try to make friends from the beginning. I wish I had tried a little harder, because now, I still haven't made any new, REAL friends. Make sure you try to get good grades from the start. Don't slack off a little as you get used to it. be ready to study, and work hard. Don't hold up the hallways or stairwells saying hi to your friends. Also, people get mad if your backpack is too big and hits them in the face. Try to hold some of your stuff if you can.

If you get lost, don't be afraid to ask a teacher who is waiting outside the door. They are used to helping. Just say, ';Where is room 312,'; or something like that.

Also, don't act like you own the place. People who do that are annoying.Does any one have any advice for a girl starting High School next year?
play it cool. have fun. dont stress out. make time for yourself. do all your homework. and talk to that guy!! Good Luck!!
Don't be afraid. I'm sure their are many other girls that feel the same. I was afraid at first, but when i go use to it,i thought to myself, Why was I afraid? This is gonna be so simple!
dont freak... go to school. have fun. make new friends. and most of all....GO UP AND TALK 2 THAT GUY!!!!!!:)
lol

i was the same way not too long ago...

don't date junior and senior guys. it's a bad idea.

go to the school ahead of time if you can and find the fastest way to each class from the class you had before it (once you have your schedule. find your way around, make sure you can open your locker, etc.

you should be fine.
Oh man, if I knew then what I know now...

Just be yourself. Know that in 5 years barely anything that will happen in high school will matter, except getting good recommendations from teachers and accumulating some die-hard best friends. Own your own style - don't worry about getting the newest fashion to impress someone. I wasted too much money in high school trying to be cool. Play it cool with the guy - sometimes the best relationships start as friends 1st, so just seek out a good friendship, and let everything else fall into place. Good luck, kid.
Well, take some time to relax during summer. My daughter is in 9th grade this year. I suggest to try making new friends during classes and everything will come into place. Good luck and have good high school years!
