Girl advice, this is really important! I need an expert.?

OK so i have a friend who i happened to begin to like extremely. She is basically me as an attractive female. She has told me on several occasions how awesome i am and how hot she thinks i am but when i asked her out she said no. It is because she just got done with a serious relationship and she needs time but i may have a chance after she is over her last relationship. How long should this take? also should i date other ppl while i wait for her? I don't think i should but a few friends said i should.Girl advice, this is really important! I need an expert.?
u should probaly date otherr ppl, so u can maybe get her jealous alittle bit haha. Itz like when u go to the store and u really want this purse but i decide to get it later then itz sold out lolz. And it should only take like 2-4 weekz or sumtin like that.

If ur gonna wait don't date other ppl. If she considers u a love interest she'll be watching. If not it doesn't matter what you do cause she is not interested. Hard to say what that girl is thinking, some girls are flirts and may say all sorts of things. Best way to judge is how does she treat u compared to other guys. If she is buddy buddy with all guys then u not special. Sry. It's kinda cliche but girls very rarely say exactly what mean and what they want. So don't take her word for it, examine how she acts to figure out if she likes you. If she starts conversations, laughs a lot, and makes eye contact those are all pretty good signs.
